How do I apply?
Email or call to request an online application form. Submit it with supporting documentation and then your local Program Director will contact you to set up a tour of the centre for you and your child.
Is there a waitlist?
Claro does not keep a traditional "waitlist." It is not first come first served, but instead, first come best fit based on the enrolment criteria listed above. We will communicate decisions openly and, if we cannot meet the needs of your child, we will offer to keep your application for future consideration. Whenever possible, we will refer you to alternate options in the community. Unfortunately, demand for our program is greater than available space and we continue to work hard to open more seats to serve more students in both communities.
How can I get more information?
We'd love to connect to learn about your child and family. Click on Connect in the toolbar and call or email us.
What are the enrolment criteria?
We consider each applicant's age, strengths, abilities, and needs and assess whether Claro has the staff capacity, potential pod to provide an environment where your child could learn, grow, and shine. Students who possess sufficient self-regulation skills necessary to safely participate in a 1:3 (staff to student) ratio in the centre and on community outings thrive in our program. Students with recurring significant aggression or violence are encouraged to continue building skills with 1:1 support before applying to our program.
