Claro offers a full-time, integrated day program for children and youth. Programming occurs in our sensory-sensitive learning centres and through regular outings to deepen community connections and explore nature.
Claro provides educational assistance and small-group behaviour intervention to promote co-regulation, functional life skills, social-emotional learning, therapeutic recreation, transition-to-adulthood support, and meaningful community inclusion for neurodivergent children and youth aged 7-19. While most families experience Claro as an integrated whole, our program comprises two distinct aspects that are delivered and funded separately. Together, these two components support children and youth to build skills, confidence, and meaningful participation in their communities. We are experienced in supporting neurodivergent young people with a wide range of neurodevelopmental profiles and support needs in our welcoming community. These include (but are not limited to) Autism, FASD, ADHD, ARFID, Tourette Syndrome, Intellectual Impairment, Epilepsy, PDA profiles, genetic conditions, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorder, and learning disabilities. |
Every child is treated as an individual, with a tailored program of support designed around their strengths, needs, interests, and goals within a supportive social environment, both in our centres and the community.
We value each family’s unique experiences, culture, strengths, and perspectives, and work in partnership to provide meaningful, individualized, trauma-sensitive support where children, youth, and families feel respected, included, and supported. |

Those of us whose brains work differently can sometimes feel like we don't fit in, or that our abilities and interests are undervalued or dismissed. We are trying our best, but sometimes it seems like no one notices how hard we are working.
