Can I tour the centre?
Yes! Contact us today to set up a tour for you and your child. We can't wait to meet you! (Please note: we pause booking tours in early Fall to focus on settling in our students). 
 
How do I apply at Claro Centres?
Contact us through the Connect tab to request an online application form. We will email it via Dropbox Sign. Please complete and submit it with supporting documentation. We look forward to receiving it.

Can my child try out Claro Centres?
On a case by case basis, Claro may offer one or more Explore Claro Days. This will be discussed after an application form has been submitted and we have had a chance to meet you and your child. An Explore Claro Day is no way a promise, guarantee or offer of enrolment. It is a chance for your child to experience a day at Claro.

What are the enrolment criteria for Claro Centres?
We consider each applicant's age, strengths, abilities, and needs  and assess whether Claro has the staff capacity, potential peer group and pod to provide an environment where your child could learn, grow, and shine.  Students who possess sufficient regulation and personal care skills necessary to safely participate in a 1:3 or 1:4 (staff to student) ratio in the centre and on community outings thrive in our program. Students must be independent in toileting. Students with recurring significant aggression or violence are encouraged to continue building skills with 1:1 support before applying to our program. 

Is there a waitlist?
Claro Centres do not keep a traditional "waitlist."  It is not first come first served, but instead, first come best fit based on the enrolment criteria listed above.  We will communicate decisions openly and, if we cannot meet the needs of your child, we will offer to keep your application for future consideration. Whenever possible, we will refer you to alternate options in the community.  Unfortunately, demand for our program is greater than available space and we continue to work hard to open more seats to serve more children and youth in our communities.

Do Claro Centres offer programming for children aged 5-7?
Not yet! With adequate interest, we are keen to expand our programming. Please contact us to let us know you're interested.
